What you need
An OttoClipper account, after your first store
Your first store run needs no OttoClipper account. After that, a free one (email and password) keeps you clipping and saves your savings history.
A Target account
Sign in at target.com in Chrome before a run. Coupons load onto your Target loyalty account, and OttoClipper clips using the login already in your browser. We never see your store passwords. You sign in on the store's own site, like always.
Chrome
OttoClipper is a Chrome extension. Installing takes about 30 seconds.
How it works at Target
- 1
Install OttoClipper
Add OttoClipper to Chrome. Your first store run needs no OttoClipper account; a free one keeps you clipping after that.
- 2
Pick Target
OttoClipper opens target.com and works through the coupon list for you.
- 3
Shop as usual
The coupons are on your Target account, so the discounts come off at the register.
How Target offers work

Target questions, answered
Can I use a Target Circle deal and a manufacturer coupon on the same item?
▾
Yes, within Target’s limits. Its coupon policy allows one manufacturer coupon (paper or digital), one Target category offer and one Target item-level offer per item. Digital manufacturer coupons in Target Circle are single-use and do not stack with a paper manufacturer coupon.
What happens to a Target Circle deal if I return the item?
▾
Target says a single-use offer is put back on your account automatically if every item it applied to is returned, cancelled or voided. The refund itself does not include the discount.
Do I need Target Circle?
▾
Yes. Target Circle is the free programme the offers attach to, so sign in at target.com first. OttoClipper clips into whichever account that tab already holds and never types credentials.
Are the student and military discounts part of this?
▾
No. Target grants those on verified status - it advertises discounts for verified military, college students and teachers - rather than as coupons on the offers board, so a run neither adds them nor affects them.
Do I need to pay for OttoClipper?
▾
OttoClipper is free to use: your first store run needs no OttoClipper account, and a free OttoClipper account covers four stores a day. Pro, for unlimited stores, is $4.99 a month or $45 a year.
Can I clip Target and somewhere else the same day?
▾
Yes. Four stores a day on the free plan, and Pro removes the cap.
