Tips for clipping CVS coupons
- Sign in at cvs.com in Chrome first. Coupons load onto your ExtraCare account, and OttoClipper works with the login your browser already has. It never sees your CVS password.
- The CVS coupon page OttoClipper works through is cvs.com/extracare/home. Open it yourself any time to see what is on your account.
- On the free plan OttoClipper runs four stores a day, and your first store run needs no OttoClipper account. Pro removes the daily limit.

How CVS digital coupons work
From the store’s own public help pages. Each rule links to the page it came from and the day we read it; if the two ever differ, the store’s page is right.
Once a coupon has been sent to your ExtraCare card, you can give the store associate your phone number at checkout instead of the card, and your coupons can be applied.

If all the purchase criteria are met in a transaction, several coupons can be used at once. If only part of the criteria is met for several offers, the coupon with the highest value may be applied.

CVS questions, answered
Which account do the deals attach to?
▾
ExtraCare. CVS loads its digital offers onto that account, so sign in at cvs.com before a run and OttoClipper will clip into it.
Does it touch my ExtraBucks?
▾
No. A run only clips the offers sitting on the coupon board. Anything CVS issues separately is left alone.
Is an OttoClipper account needed?
▾
Not for your first store run. After that, a free OttoClipper account (email and password) keeps you clipping four stores a day and saves your savings history.
Can I run CVS and a grocery store on the same day?
▾
Yes - the free plan covers four stores a day, enough for a pharmacy and a few supermarkets. Pro removes the limit.
A coupon on my card didn’t apply at the register. Why?
▾
CVS’s own help page says to check that the purchase criteria were met: a $4 off $20 coupon, for example, needs a transaction total of at least $20. If the coupon is still valid, you can print a summary of what was sent to your card at the ExtraCare Coupon Center.
